 Finally you get the hard-deserved and long awaited update on the "Karaoke-Contest" with this. It has been in no way meant to be a contempt of all the great recordings and individual input we got from each of you. There have been so many great songs recorded and sent to us that we almost got into an internal quarrel in the band about which of the participants belongs to our Top 10. We finally are about to be able to release them and can already tell you that it's been no easy decision at all and we had to listen to the songs again and again during the past time. Thanks for all your patience and we hope to very soon name the winning contributions. The Rays. |

Only 45 minutes after the pre-sale for the Wacken Open Air Festival 2012 had started, the first 10.000 tickets have been sold. One of the steadiest bands of the W:O:A Festival of course is Gamma Ray who belong to the first bands confirmed for 2012 as you already might know. Check Tourdates for the first dates of 2012. |

Dear All,
unfortunately we are forced to deliver the bad news that Henjo Richter had a bike accident and broke three ribs and the collarbone, so he will not be able to play on the cruise. Since we couldn't find a replacement and did not want to cancel the show and leave our fans disappointed, we have decided to play the show nevertheless and give our longtime live keyboarder Mr. Corvin Bahn (Crystal Breed) some extraspace and a distortionpedal for his organsounds. So if you're on the boat and around 1:45 am hear something that sounds like Deep Purple playing Gamma Ray songs, its us. Hope you'll enjoy this 'Show beyond the ordinary' .

 Es erwartet Dich am 18. September eine neue, spektakuläre Ausgabe des exklusiven Mini-Festivals. Berlin Live holt Berlins internationale Konzertkultur ins Fernsehen. Die Stadt ist vital, vielfältig, kann verdammt gut feiern und ist ein starker Magnet für Künstler. Es hat sich eine kreative Musikszene dort angesiedelt, die sich permanent verändert und erneuert. Berlin Live ist ein musikalisches Happening, veranstaltet im TRAFO, der beeindruckenden Beton-Kathedrale des legendären Clubs Tresor. Drei Bands kommen zusammen und spielen abwechselnd.
