Danke für deine Rückmeldung. Es tut mir / uns Leid, dass dir das Konzert nicht gefallen hat, bzw. du etwas anderes erwartet hattest!

Gamma Ray ist bewusst davon abgewichen, ein Best-Of Programm runterzuspielen, da die aktuelle Tour (Mini-Tour) und darüber hinaus auch die Festivalauftritte, soweit diese es ermöglichen unter einem komplett anderen Motto stehen.

Anknüpfend an die "Skeletons In The Closet" Live-CD, ist von den Fans in den letzten Monaten, aus selten und gar nicht live gespielten Songs, eine Setlist ausgewählt worden. Ein Appetizer dazu war die aktuelle EP, die u. a. zwei alte Tracks in "Full Metal Gear" aufbereitet hat ("Skeletons") und zwei weitere "Hits" in Karaoke ("Majesties").

Sicherlich sind Umbauphasen ungewohnt, aber durch das aktuelle Konzept war es nicht anders umsetzbar. Blickt man ins Theater, sind Umbauphasen etwas Selbstverständliches.

Die Resonanzen der Tour waren weitaus besser, hier wurde das neu präsentierte Set sehr gut angenommen und es war eine Abwechslung, speziell ältere Songs mal in einem komplett anderen Soundgewand zu hören. Aber auch schon auf der Tour musste das Konzept vereinzelt noch etwas intensiver erläutert werden, das hinter der Tour (und der EP) steht, da dieses scheinbar nicht leicht zu verstehen ist und eben mal davon abweicht, mit Volldampf Metalstampfer zu spielen ohne Unterbrechung.

Ich persönlich fand es auch erfrischend, mal andere Sound und aufbereitete Songs zu hören - wobei ich nur auf der Tour und nicht in HH dabei war.

Ich hoffe, dir zumindest etwas beim Verständnis geholfen haben zu können, warum du gestern "so einen Gig" von Gamma Ray zu sehen bekommen hast!

Geil, dass ihr so viele Songs gespielt habt, die ihr sonst nicht so oft spielt und sogar die 2 Akkustik-Versionen, die man sonst nur auf Youtube zu sehen bekommt!
Und ihr habt sogar Herrn Kiske ausgegraben! "I want out" wäre allerdings noch cool gewesen, wo er schon da war.

ich war kürzlich bei euch in berlin aufm Konzert und hab mich sehr geärgert. ich finde man muss den leuten, die zum konzert kommen und sich freuen nicht so vorwurfsvoll erzählen, dass es nicht ausverkauft ist. Wir waren ja schließlich da. Vielleicht solltet ihr euch einfach besser um eure Fans in berlin kümmern. also nicht nur ganz aufopferungsvoll den urlaub unterbrechen und auf dankbarkeit hoffen, sondern gezielt kommen!

also, hoffentlich dauerts nicht so lang, bis ihr mal wieder kommt!

That's a point, how come we can't vote for Lust for Life? That's one of my all time faves, and I've not heard it played live by the current line up. While the Blast from the Past version rocks, live versions seem to have more welly (Man on a Mission springs to mind!!). Would love to hear it.

It was awesome  the  show  at  Key Club in west hollywood  hope you guys doing ok in chicago   thanks Kai  for having the time  to take a picture  after the show  we saw you walking down  the street towards us   and  i was like  ''Mr Kai  a picture''   we were in shock.

I was totally on the top of the world when I went to Gramercy Theater in New York!!! But I was too excited to talk with all of you and I lost my poor english at the meeting! (Well I'm origanaly from Japan.)  Even Henjo spoke to me in Japanese, I had no idea what to say ! The concert was AWESOME!!! My boys wanted to go, but they were too young.  Thank you for adding "...sisters..."for the song called Armageddon, I liked that as a female fan!!!

Buenas Gamma Ray. En primer lugar, me gustaría deciros que sois mis ídolos desde muy temprana edad, en mis primeros momentos de lucidez ya estaba escuchando Heaven Can Wait. Mi mayor sueño hasta este momento es que vengáis a tocar a Sevilla España, el próximo año de 2011, ya que me tengo que aguantar con ver "mago de oz" en las colombinas de Huelva. Mi mayor sueño se vería cumplido si hacéis lo que os pedí.

Ich würde es echt klasse finden,wenn es einen nachfolger von No World Order geben würde.Ich denke der Zeitwandel geht  bei euch auch bestimmt nicht spurlos vorbei, dass die Welt sich immer mehr verändert und das viel in sachen New World Order ,Chemtrials ,Bilderberg Group,Mind Control etc.. aufgedeckt wurde und sich immer mehr Menschen damit beschäftigen und sich nicht mehr von dehnen da oben belügen lassen.Ich finde man sollte echt nochmal einen richtigen hammer setzen denn zu viele Menschen laufen immer noch Blind in der gegend rum. Leider Verkaufen zu viele Musiker in der Welt ihre Seele wie bei vielen Pop Bands nur um groß rauszukommen das kann an keinem spurlos vorbeigehen und zerstört im algm die Musik.Setzt bitte nochmal ein dickes Zeichen das es Zeit ist klar zu denken !

To be more precise, I remember seeing a Gamma Ray thong avaible in the previous web shop, and a few days ago I was thinking of getting one of that for my girlfriend. Sadly, webshop is closed at the moment.

I'm so happy that the website is back! And I really want to see the webshop (Please have some Land of the Free t-shirt...). Me, I'm a canadian (from Quebec) and me and my band, ProjectDreams (we only have a Facebook page for now since we're starting), are really inspired by what the Rays created, and what God Hansen created in a certain pumpkins band... We play some good power metal songs and we're all 14 years old! My dream is just that one of the Mighty Rays come and play with us (like HammerFall and Stormwarrior) So... UP FOR THE RAYS!!!

excellent music, guys. i'd love for Gamma Ray to become more popular in the US. when i first heard your music, i was amazed, and shocked that this band wasnt as popular in the US, but i'm doing my part every day by blasting it whenever i can. love you guys, and would be great to see you guys on tour in the US more often.

Hallo Leute, ich hab schon ein paar mal nachgefragt aber immer noch keine Antwprt erhalten. Ich war im Gamma Ray Schizoid Fan Club und weiß bis heute nicht, ob ich überhaupt noch Mitglied bin, da ich keine Clubgebühr zahlen sollte, weil der Fan club umstrukturiert werden sollte. Ich bekomme auch schon lange keine e-mails mehr vom Fan Club und war auch schon seit ein paar Jahren nicht mehr auf dem Fan Clubtreffen in Hamburg im Ballroom. The gig here in Chile was fantastic, well tough the sound wasn't the best you guys gave everything on stage it was fantastic, the setlist was kind of strange it had many surprises. I was blowed away when you played Man on a mission and Ride the sky, because when you came here on 2005 you I was expecting those songs but you didn't played them, so you made one of my dreams come true :).
